A development for more than 200 student bedrooms on the former site of a healthcare facility in York is set to get the green light.
York St John University submitted a full planning application last for the re-development of Peppermill Court.
Permission is being sought for the construction of six linked student blocks, which includes 210 student bedspaces in varying sizes.
Each block will contain a kitchen and living areas, and also social, laundry and study areas.
The former NHS site was used as a 24-bed interim mental health care facility. The project team includes O’Neill Associates, Ridge and Partners and Re-form Landscape Architects.
