Europe’s largest electricity and heat provider signs up for Tomorrow’s Sheds and Logistics conference

One of Europe’s Energy companies, Vattenfall, have confirmed their involvement in the inaugural Tomorrow’s Sheds and Logistics event – hosted by the UK’s leading construction and property event provider, Built Environment Networking.

The first ever Tomorrow’s Sheds and Logistics conference is set to take place between the 29-30 November in London. The event will focus on the rise of the sheds, logistics and industrial property industry, whilst unveiling over £10bn of new schemes and discussions on the main challenges and opportunities the industry faces.

For over 100 years, Vattenfall have been delivering power to homes and businesses, and transforming lives through innovation. With goals to enable fossil free living, Vattenfall are committed to finding new and contemporary ways to power the lives of their customers.

Vattenfall are due to deliver a best practice presentation at the conference, where, Suzanna Lashford, Business Development Manager at Vattenfall Networks will outline how Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNOs) provide an alternative route for developers to secure new or upgraded electrical grid connections.

Speaking of their involvement, Suzanna Lashford from Vattenfall said, “Securing power for new developments has often had its challenges and now with electrification of heat and electric vehicle charging this challenge has grown. There are solutions to enable the best for your developments, through working with IDNO’s, who can offer financial benefits along with design improvements”.
