Aprirose expand hotel and leisure portfolio with strategic acquisition

Aprirose, the real estate investment company, has added to its growing portfolio of hotel and leisure assets with the acquisition of Selsdon Park Hotel in Surrey from De Vere Hotels for an undisclosed price.

The 200-acre parkland estate, set on the fringes of the Surrey countryside but just 12 miles from London, currently incorporates a 150-room hotel, meeting and conference facilities, a range of dining amenities, a leisure centre, tennis courts, running trail, and 18-hole golf course.

Manish Gudka, CEO, Aprirose, said: “As part of our ongoing strategy to grow our portfolio of high-quality hospitality and leisure assets, we are pleased to have acquired Selsdon Park Hotel. The estate represents a great fit for Aprirose, it’s a large, well-located site and we’re excited by the potential to develop and enhance the existing amenities.”

Aprirose’s dedicated platform for owned and operated hotels continues to go from strength to strength, with the team currently manages 21 properties for a number of high-profile brands including Delta Hotels by Marriott, Double Tree by Hilton and the Qhotels portfolio, which comprises 19 market-leading country house, hotel and spa assets, including Oulton Hall in Yorkshire and Slaley Hall hotel and luxury golf resort in Northumberland.  In 2018 Aprirose also invested in a separate lifestyle concept, Birch, and has continued to support its growth.
