Jeremy Lamb, Auctions Director at Savills says: “With over 170 lots across London and the country, our eighth auction this year offers another good-sized, multi-sector catalogue with some fantastic opportunities for bidders.
Of particular note are several high-value development opportunities, including a grade II listed former manor house with substantial grounds in Buckinghamshire guided at £6,000,000 and a residential apartment block with further development potential in London, guided at £5,200,000.
On the residential side, there are numerous project houses in desirable south London postcodes including Battersea and Wimbledon, guided from £650,000. These residential areas remain ever popular with buyers owing to their excellent transport links and proximity to green space.
We’re seeing encouraging pre-sale demand from both clients and vendors alike, and with an average success rate of 80% across our auctions so far in 2022, our October sale is showing promising signs”.
